The Take Inventory™ method
Five stages that guide the work.
The assessment identifies where your organization may need attention. If you choose to continue, Goree Solutions uses these five stages to move from insight to stronger stewardship. These are the five stages of the method. They explain how the work moves forward from the first snapshot to ongoing improvement.
What this assessment does: This free assessment provides a high-level snapshot. It is not a deep dive and does not include detailed record review, written findings, or an Organizational Stewardship Roadmap. Those are part of the separate Paid Financial Clarity Assessment or a consulting engagement.

How to understand your results
Strong: The responses suggest that this area has established practices to build on. Continue monitoring it and address smaller gaps before they become larger risks.
Developing: Some practices are in place, but they may be inconsistent, informal, or dependent on one person. Clarifying ownership and documenting the process can improve reliability.
Needs Attention: This area may need a more immediate foundation. Start by clarifying roles, gathering the right information, and creating a practical process that leadership can use.
What each area measures
- Foundational controls: Role separation, reconciliations, approvals, and documented financial processes.
- Compliance and reporting: Financial reports, budget review, restricted or designated funds, filings, deadlines, and supporting documentation.
- Strategic financial strength: Budget use, forecasting, leadership visibility, and a prioritized plan for strengthening operations.
What to do next
Use the area marked Needs Attention first. If more than one area is Developing or Needs Attention, begin with foundational controls and reporting so leadership has dependable information for decisions.
